Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko welcomed their third child, a baby boy, on September 6, 2006 via scheduled c-section. Prince Hisahito joins sisters Mako (14) and Kako (11) and will be third in the line to the Chrysanthemum Throne.

Japan is ecstatic over the birth of their healthy little princess Aiko.

The long awaited baby girl was born to Crown Prince Naruhitu and Crown Princess Masako of Japan on December 1st after eight years of marrige.
