Princess Ingrid Alexandra turns Four Years Old

My favourite royal baby
turns 4 years old today. Happy birthday! Princess Ingrid Alexandra is not quite a baby any more but none the less adorable.

Myself turned 26 today and I wanted to thank you guys on this occasion for visiting my website so frequently. It makes it all worth it.

• Prince Sverre turned 2 years old on December 3,
• Marius will be 10 on January 13th, and cuter than cute
• Ingrid Alexandra will celebrate her 4th birthday on January 21

Look who's grown hair!

State visit to India

October 30th, Mumbai Crown Princess Mette Marit giving a speech at the workshop on Norwegian film in India. Later that day, the crown couple attended a concert in Mumbai.


October 31st, Mumbai Mette-Marit visits the AIDS center at Sion Hospital as well as the Indian Institute of Hotel Management and together with Crown Prince Haakon at the Taj Mahal.
Novemeber 1st, New Dehli Meeting with Indian Foreign Minister Pranab Mukherjee and visit to the Mahatma Gandhi memorial at Rajghat

November 2nd, New Dehli Visit to the National Crafts Museum;
Seminar about the India-Norway Business Cooperation;

November 3rd, Jaipur Community Health Center in Chomu
November 4th, Jaipur Visit to Amber Fort

With the end of summer approaching, Crown Princess Mette-Marit accompanied her husband Crown Prince Haakon to several events, representing the country by his side.

Starting on August 26th both were attending the five year anniversary of their Humanitarian Foundation.


Further engagements followed from August 29th - 31st, with the State visit of Bulgaria. On September 1, 2006 the crown couple celebrated the 25th anniversary for the Ombudsman for children in Oslo.

From September 5th-7th, Crown Princess Mette Marit accompanied Crown Prince Haakon on the county trip to Sogn og fjordane.
